Bible Study

Genesis: From Creation to Covenant is an 8-session study exploring how the first book of the Bible lays the foundation for the entire story of salvation.

The book of Genesis tells how Creation was born from God’s infinite love and goodness, the chaos brought by the Fall, and the covenant promises that move salvation history forward. Through some of the most well-known and beloved stories in Scripture—including Adam and Eve, Noah and the Ark, the Tower of Babel, Abraham, Jacob, and Joseph—God initiates his plan to restore what was lost.

Guided by Jeff Cavins and Dr. Scott Powell, this study shows how God works through every generation and covenant promise to draw his people back into relationship with him and prepare the way for our salvation, a plan that continues to unfold in our lives today.

Each session includes large group prayer, small group discussion, and video. 

In the evening, there are usually 2 discussion groups: all-men or all-women.  In the morning, we usually have several all-women groups and a coed group. Sometimes we have an all-men group as well!  You may request to be with a friend (or two). We enjoy welcoming new people, so if you are new, it’s OK to come by yourself.

     PM Group:  Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00 pm

Registration is online. Scroll to the bottom of this page for the form. Once you register, you immediately receive a confirmation email. (If you don't receive this, there's a problem with your registration.) This email gibook pick-up dates/times and other important information. If you register by 9/15, you'll have your book for the first class and you'll be put into a small group.

Class Fee
Basic Registration: $35.00
This includes a workbook. 

Video Access: $5.00
If you want to watch the videos online at home, pay an additional $5.00. You can only get Video Access if you are also paying Basic Registration.  (NOTE: These are the exact same videos you'll see at class.) 
 
If you do not pay when you register, you may pay by cash/check or choose "Make A Plan" on your form. (You will then need to pay us when you get your book.) If you'd like to donate to assist other participants, you can also do this when you register.

Confirmation Email
Once you register, you'll immediately receive a "Confirmation Email."  This email gives you more details about the study and provides a schedule for book pickup.
